All of us are dealing with COVID-19 and many are making serious sacrifices and dealing with lots of uncertainties. We want to assure you that Action Ministries has every intention of staying open to help provide food for your family during this crisis. Our hours will remain the same – Monday thru Friday, 9-noon, 1st Monday (6:30-8) and 3rd Monday (6-7:30). Our primary service area also remains the same – southern Kenton County. If you are outside that area, please try a food pantry closer to your home. To protect you and to protect ourselves we are limiting personal, physical contact. We are asking you to park and stay in your car. A Greeter will come to you and get your information. After we have put it into our system, we will have groceries brought to your car. Please know that we continue to care deeply about the well-being of our community as we have for over 25 years and we will continue to serve you as long as we have the resources to do it. Please join us in praying that this will be over soon.
Our mission is “to share the love of Jesus Christ by providing groceries, hope and encouragement to low-income families.”
Who We Are
Action Ministries is a totally volunteer organization – we have no paid staff. Our 100 volunteers are people from different churches and communities. Over 26,000 volunteer hours were put in last year by the people who make this program work. While we are doing this work because we are Christians, we are not affiliated with any particular church.
